Whatever doesn’t kill me is a podcast in the moth. Ed Gavagan tells one of his stories on the podcast. My narrative design is based on this story. This narrative is about hope and rebuilding. A drop of rain during a terrible storm splashes on the ground causing the city of New York to build. The storm represents the darkest time in Ed Gavagan’s life after his brutal attack, and the raindrop suggests the possibility of new life. This concept is a metaphor of how he was able to rebuild his life after a time of darkness and turmoil. When all was lost, Ed Gavagan found his way back home.
